Lucas announces new direction for Episode III
No, not really. But this is worth a read anyway.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

As a native of Denmark, I can't help but smile....
BTW, you couldn't make Star Wars as a "Dogme 95" movie since Dogme movies aren't allowed to be genre films.
However, you can have another way of making EP3 look and feel like a Z-grade movie - have Kevin Lindenmuth direct and film it. That would be entertaining.

Fight in a lumberyard, uh... yes, very interesting.

Are you sure this isn't like that time Michael Jackson stopped by your house so he could use the bathroom? - Superman

Given that the Dogme 95 Manifesto doesn't allow fight scenes, the closest thing we'll get to that would be Anakin ripping off his clothes and then yelling at Obi-Wan.YT300000 wrote:Fight in a lumberyard, uh... yes, very interesting.

Actually, I was referring to "The Idiots". (One of the first movies made according to the Dogme 95 Manifesto - it's worth watching alone for the scene where a man rips off his clothes and yells at a municipality worker)Matt7 wrote:hmmm...sounds like the last episode (NOT the movie) of Neon Genesis Evangelion...Hideaki Anno is a freaking genius, btw - i liked the way that ended, but for sw...naaaaaah.
