And human wearing Stormtrooper armour (and being trained for wearing it in all sorts of extreme conditions) is far superior to humans without the armour and training, your point?

And why won't the Stormtroopers be arming themselves with better than usual equipment when dealing with a Pred? The fact is, the thread starter post says this:

The only way the Pred is going to get ANY kills is if either his weapons hits the exposed body glove area of the Stormtrooper armour (any other will daze a couple of Stormies at best), or get a direct hit with shoulder cannon (the laser pointer targetting of which will give his position away to the Stormies like a beacon).

Pred's seem very good at Three dimensional Tactics, Two, like any good hunter they will spend some lengthy time observing prey. Three, the predator's targeting system is very good at sniping, and there is lot's of natural cover, not just visual light invisiblility for it to use. Since it can also see that these creatures are armoured it would make hits to joints. Perferably a razor disk (EM homing, weapon) from an oblique angel, to disable one or two stormtroopers, or use the plasma caster, specifically aiming for the un armoured back of the knee joint's disabling stormtroopers will hinder the combat ability of the whole squad. Expending energy using the cloak would be a mistake, best to use plentiful narural cover, their insian speed and strength to climb rather rapidly up the plentiful trees.

Except as its already been said the Stormys are invisible in IR and hard to spot in UV(White is Black in UV)

It might be good at sniping but remeber the Preditor is at a serious disadvanatge here, Bascily its facing less agil verisons that are just as heavly armed and more Armored that it is and can see/hear better and farther than it can

Why you assume the Preditor will spot the Stormys first I don't know..
