I'm thinking about signing up for a Care2 web account. Now, this is a group which claims that global warming is causing the icecaps to melt, thus forcing baby seal to starve(or something to that effect), but they do let you have upwards of 200+ images on your account.

Basically, what I need is reassurance. I mean, sure I'm supporting some far-left, socialist, enviromentalist tree-huggers, but I'm doing it for my own greedy, capitalist purposes, and mostly storing images of war, death, and American flags, so the two balance out, right?

No. You can take a stand with your money--it's your most powerful tool in speaking your mind. And who knows? What if they cancel your account because you host those sorts of images?

Go for it. Think of it this way - by uploading afore-mentioned images onto their servers, you're mocking them and using them for the idiots they are.

If this Care2 thing is free, then by all means go ahead and do it, if you have to pay for it then tell'em to go fuck themselves and get your hosting done elsewhere. BTW, baby seals are evil and must be killed.

so if the polar ice caps melt, how can sea levels rise? i mean if you have a glass of icewater and all the ice melts , the water level goes down because water takes up less space in a liquid state. i never understood that.

Because most of the ice in the Southern Ice Cap is on a continent. When it melts, it flows into the oceans, increasing the volume of the ocean.
