So, Obi-Wan probably lost yet another sabre, during the Clone Wars, and built his OT one. Now it's starting to make sense.

He lost his first sabre for the second time in AOTC (for all we know, he might have recovered it when he lost it the first time in TPM, but who cares)- he used a spare in the fight after. He simply built a new one after that, I bet.

Oh, that's right. I forgot about AotC.

I remember from the TPM novelisation that Obi-Wan kept Qui-Gon's lightsaber as his own. I'll dig up the quote when i'm at my parents later. Qui-Gon's saber was green IIRC.

Terry Brooks, TPM novel, page 315 wrote:He [Obi-Wan] paced the room, dressed in fresh clothing for the funeral, soft, loose-fitting, sand-coloured Jedi Knight garb, Qui-Gon's lightsabre, now his own, handing from his belt.

About Qui-Gon's saber, he probably either lost it or put it away for fear of losing it.

And it's a good thing he's getting his OT saber; it's the best-looking one out there, aside from the one Luke inherits.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

It's a Honda CBR600, an '02 model by the looks of it. One of the more comfortable sports bikes, however if it is the '02 model, it is a let down in performance when compared to the other manufactures model's of that year. The '03 model just shits all over it...

...Actually it might be even older than the '02 model, now that I am taking a closer look at it.

He looks an AWFUL lot like Alec Guiness in that picture. Same haircut and everything.

Probably done on purpose. For added continuity.

Well, the motorcycle I posted certainly resembles Kaneda's more than a CBR600 does...

Tells a lot about Kaneda's sense of fashion, doesn't it?
