1). how long was Obiwans lightsaber in TPM?

2). Mike, how'd you get those calcs for the Jedi force speed? I tried to do it myself, but I get a much smaller number than you (about 1/2 of yours IIRC).

Somewhere between 90 and 150cm, I'd say.

Well, I dare say he saw how long it took the Jedi to get a certain distance away, then calced the acceleration with Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2ad.

Is this related to the thread where you were saying it was inaccurate to use the lightsaber as a benchmark to measure the distance Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon covered in TPM?
