Keira Knightly and Natalie Portman. Twins?

Post by Pu-239 »

Just watched Pirates of the Caribbean, good movie, and nice special effects, though the effect of the cannonballs on the colony is exaggerated, as mentioned before.

Anyways, Keira Knightly and Natalie Portman. Twins?

Resemblance is eerie.

Yes, the resemblance is eerie, which is why Ms. Knightley was cast as Sabe, Padme's bodyguard, in TPM.

And clearly the only way to be certain they aren't twins is for the two of them to engage in a massive lesbian love fest.

Obviously lesbians will invite you to join in regardless.

There's this one chick in my speech class who, and no I am not kidding you, looks even more like Natalie than Keira does. However, I have a girlfriend already and she's committed as well.

Since it's tough enough to decide, I'd say that I'll have to look at outside factors in determining my favorite. NAtalie Portman is from Israel, so she owuldn't be too thrilled about my beliefs regarding the actions fo her countrymen. Plus she's a vegetarian, meaning there's a chance she might associate with PETA.

Keira is playing Guinevere in next summer's King Arthur movie. It's odd to have a crush on a literary character, but I do. And that's the tie-breaker.

Keira.

Not all vegetarians sympathize with PETA.

In fact, I'm sure that most vegetarians (well, the sane ones at least
) consider the PETA an embarrasment.

For a parallel, replace "vegetarian" with "communist" and "PETA" with "USSR".

BTW, I don't think Keira and Natalie are twins. If you look closely, Keira has slightly larger eyes and a more flat nose.

Really?? There's barely any difference between their appearance. (the only ones, aside from hair colouration, are that Natalie has differently-shaped eyes, a more prominent chin and slightly narrower jaws)

Oh there's a difference, all right. At least to me. Keira has fuller lips and eyes. She also has better hair, and I think that she simply photographs better than Natalie. The difference is there, but they might as well be sisters. I just think the Keira is the sister I'd rather nail.

EDIT: Keira also has a more prominent nose. Yes, Natalie's nose is small and cute, but I'm an Italian, descendant of the great Roman Empire. Romans like a good schnoz on a woman.

Hmm well... if Lucas thought Keira was similar enough that he hired her to play (the real) Padme, then I'd say they look pretty durn similar.
