--I would say they are better looking than average, but it depends on what feild you are in and where you live. You can find both gorgeous women and ugly ones, but you would have to look hard to find hidious ones.

And "goth" and "athiest" are in no way connected. One can be an athiest and not a goth, just as one can be a goth who's not an athiest

Couple of my female friends went through the pagan thing before going atheist. One of them explained that paganism was sort of a stopgap religion, something to believe in after ditching the Catholicism they were raised with, and before leaving theism behind entirely. Girlfriend calls herself an atheist/existentialist, though I'm not quite sure what that means. My mother used to believe, but seems to have more or less given that up.

On the male side, my brother and I are atheists. So is my father, who flatly refused to let our mother take us to church as kids. (Thanks dad!) Another friend of mine is a deist. Actually, he's not terribly philosophical, but he described what he believed, and I told him it was deism. So at least now he knows what to call himself. Heh.

PS - Goth chicks ARE hotter.
