Proof that Atheism is wrong and there is a God....

Post by Steve »

I have proof that there is a Supreme Being.

This very day is that proof.

In other words, the Charley Horse cramp that woke me up two hours before I wanted and kept me from going back to sleep, combined with eight hours of work in the fucking rain, has led me to believe that God exists, because ONLY A SUPREME BEING COULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SHITTY, FUCKED UP DAY!!!!!!:evil::evil::evil::evil:

The truth is, people, that God exists and HATES ME.

Ummm...Steve...it's Florida, and it's summer. That means rain almost every day from now until September. I've already lost power once this week and had a brownout. Had one come through the other night that dropped 3 inches while I was sleeping. It's normal :D .

(yeah, I know, don't ruin a good bitching with facts, but hey, I got soaked when I was in Lakeland, so I've not avoided it myself)

If I knew the significance of the supposed link, I'd know whether to laugh or whatever, but as I don't.... :?

And Dark.... I work outside. I have to collect shopping carts in the lot. Meaning I get sickly wet sometimes, even with rain ponchos.

I know a bit of how you feel. I work with Habitat for Humanity, and we'll work in the rain if it's possible (hammering and painting usually can't be done, but some mounting, digging, clearing of land, and mounting of various and sundry can). I do sympathize; I was just trying to be humorous, since our so-called "Sunshine State" very often is grey and rainy.

Lakeland is teh sux0r...

Temple Terrace (the one right next to Tampa that IS it's own city, ya assholes) all the way! :D

And curse this damn rain. I've been trying to get to Adventure Island and Busch Gardens to check out the chicks and some of that other stuff they have (rides and some animals, I think) but it keeps raining or just rumbling thunder for awhile when I try to go out so there's no point.

That might make sense. I mean, with disease, war, famine, and reality TV, I say that if there is a god, he must either hate us or be too busy playing golf or fighting evil in some faraway place in the universe to care about us.

Reality TV shouldn't be blamed on God. It should be blamed upon Nyarlathotep.

I believe that's covered by RSI and wrist injuries.
RogueIce wrote:What about killing kittens?
Research is still being done to establish a correlation between masturbation and unexplained kitten deaths. We have insufficient data right now to draw definite conclusions, but we believe there's a link.

Oh, I know that feeling. Finding a girl with whom I'm compatible, likes me, enjoys talking to me, and is attractive, only to find out she's engaged to someone in Canada over an Internet relationship (and this is more or less the SECOND TIME this has happened, sans the Canada bit) is proof enough for me that the galactic dice are quite loaded.
