But at least I get 13 mins to do it in(That mile and a half anyway)
I can easily push out ninty push-ups followed by 100+ pushups but making that run under time always kills me
 ninety push-ups! I can do thirty in a row, max, before my muscles refuse to work anymore. *humble look*
I did 2 sets of 25 pushups yesterday afternoon, and can do more when pressed.
oh, and Im working up to 3 miles, 18 min. fun times.

3 minutes a km is considered good. You'll have to be faster than that if
you want to win a race.

The poll lacks the "both" option.

Mr. Dan, you just started training now? My team has been working since school got out! I've been doing 45mi a week while you've been sitting on your hind end.

You're lucky you live elsewhere :D
All summer I was doing summer age group track and it just ended two weeks ago. Because my coach is for both sports, he said that I needed at least two weeks off. It is really hard to go from 400 meters to 5k in just two weeks. I woke up this morning and my legs were hurting like a bitch.

Ran X-country my last two years of highschool and did the jumps all four. Right now, I'm trying to get back into shape cause I had heart surgery a little over a month ago.

Serving on a sub I only had to run about 150ft in any direction (mostly for "trim parties" to bust the new "BCP" operator)

That 1.5 mile run was excessive IMO :D
No kidding... When am I gonna have to run 1.5 miles on a ship? Only thing I could think of remotely close is a carrier, but that's only the flight deck, and it's usually packed with aircraft.

Y'know, unless some sadistic bastard of a CO makes us run up and down ladders all day by calling GQ every half hour...
