Damn Woman...
Notice, singular, not plural. This is only one woman, not all.
Anyway, this fem I know says she's taking a shower. She then asks if I would like to join her. Not getting very many chances like this, I say yes. So, after a fairly lengthy pause, she says I have three minutes to get there, and if I can't make it by then, too bad.
The problem being, she lives pretty far away. For this who live around here, she's up around New Tampa, just off Bearss, and I'm in Temple Terrace, off Busch and 56th. There is no fucking way I can get there in three minutes. And she knows damn well there's no way I could. It was a deliberate cocktease.
Grrrrr...

You should have said 'Yes, I'll be right over', and then headed straight out the door.

Nah. She woulda probably just pulled a "oh, you're too late anyway" stunt.HemlockGrey wrote:You should have said 'Yes, I'll be right over', and then headed straight out the door.
Like I said, what she was after, evidently, was a cocktease.

And Storm, 'twas the first time that happened. Probably won't happen again.
If it does, I'll go over there anyway and see what she says.

She probably wanted to feel wanted- it makes a girl feel good to have a guy run as fast has he can to come see her.
(I'm make, and can't know this for sure, but I'll bet it's true.)
If you had shown up two minutes late, after having sped through traffic, sweating like a madman, panting at her doorstep, i'll bet my ass she would have let you in- she was just playing a game, and girls make up the BEST games.

Re: Damn Woman...
Who is this girl? I dont know too many girls that would say that to me unless they were just joking , or meant it. Doing to just be a tease results in dial tone.
You should have said, Im already watching you on my webcam.

Rogueice, there are plenty of nice girls out there only waiting for somebody clever to ask them out. Don't be afraid, go and engage them. Stop lusting after little bitches in training, like this "friend" of yours evidently is.

Girls often use guys for attention, when they have absolutely no intention of getting romantically involved. And no, I'm not talking out of my ass, for this has happened on multiple occasions to both myself and to friends- in the case of my best friend, she told him matter of factly that's what she did (to him).

PLus, the amount of unwanted attention we get, call it revenge.

For what? Breaking a man's heart? Men can be easier (and the fact is that many women like the men to do all the work to get together), but there's no way in hell we're meaner. At most, both genders are the same.innerbrat wrote: PLus, the amount of unwanted attention we get, call it revenge.

Yes, being clever (as I suppose I may be--offline, at least ) is one way to get girls. IMHO, a pretty face and a good body is only enough to get them interested; being clever, polite, and gentlemanly is necessary to put you over the top--at least for nice girls.Colonel Olrik wrote:Rogueice, there are plenty of nice girls out there only waiting for somebody clever to ask them out. Ok. When it comes to chatting up, two bits of advice everyone needs to follow:
- Eye contact. Sooo important. Even if she/he's the most gorgeous thing you've ever seen, you gotta make eye contact. Shows you're paying attention, and you can do a lot of flirting with just a cheeky little smile [won't work if you're looking at your shoes].
- Be happy. Happiness is like the stench of manure to blow flies: it attracts people. People like hanging around those that are having a good time.
Oh for fuck's sakes people it's called FLIRTING!!! Jesus, this happens all the time and its fucking fun to do and partake in. Some girl across town tells me that she wants to take a shower with me but come in three minutes I shrug and proceed to tell her what I would do to her when we are in the shower. With any luck I have a full blown phone sex session on my hands.

Somehow Kel, I have the distinct impression one of us would be left exhausted and unable to move afterwards and its the one with hair on his chest.Kelly Antilles wrote:Now there's a man after my own sex drive.Stravo wrote:Oh for fuck's sakes people it's called FLIRTING!!!
