I have no problem with it. If people want to risk buying potentially dangerous meat for a lower price, they should be allowed to. That's called "freedom."

I think the meat could be just as safe as if you get it from a government aproved slaughterhouse,even safer in some cases.

And you don't have disgruntled wage slaves picking their noses or spitting into the meat. And since local farmers are probably more likely to take better care of their animals instead of buying feed from the lowest bidder, the risk of Mad Cow is lower.

I should add that one of the reasons regulation exists at all is to stifle competition. That's why larger corporations often throw their support to increased regulation.
