My dad killed two fish

Post by Pu-239 »

Bought them from petco or something, put them in bowls of chlorinated water, and expected them to live, despite protests of everyone else. . Then puts the corpse in the fridge  .

Umm, fish aren't supposed to live in chlorinated water at all, are they?

I think that's the idea of putting chlorine in it. Everything dies.

How much chlorine did he put in, in any case? Georgia tapwater has almost 2 ppm of chlorine in it and I've had fish survive in it.

That would have to be a horrible death, I know how chlorine feels on my eyes. Anyway, besides that point, thats hilarious in a sick messed up way. I like it.

No, chlorine was not put in deliberately. I meant he used tapwater straight out of the sink.

I don't know the chlorine concentration in this area.

Well in some areas it will rapidly kill fish, however if you leave it in an open container for a few days it will be safe.
