Can someone point me to a webpage that has instructions on how to do quick stretches that help you warm up before you start lifting weights?
Also, my ceiling is a little low to do a proper power clean- I am unable to get the bar all the way up when I fully stretch my arms. It's just a few inches, but I imagine that still makes a difference. Does it? And can anyone recommend some exercises that I can do in the place of a power clean that works the same muscle groups?
Working out question.

Didn't you learn basic stretching in P.E. class when you were in high school?Bug-Eyed Earl wrote:Can someone point me to a webpage that has instructions on how to do quick stretches that help you warm up before you start lifting weights?

Well. I've been doing those; they just don't feel like they're enough, even though I do quite a few. I just wanted to be sure.Darth Wong wrote:Didn't you learn basic stretching in P.E. class when you were in high school?Bug-Eyed Earl wrote:Can someone point me to a webpage that has instructions on how to do quick stretches that help you warm up before you start lifting weights?

This is from a military perspective, but perhaps you might find some answers here.
