5 galaxies of what? barren planets?
The galaxies win since the ISD crew will die before they can BDZ every last world.

Takes less than 1 GT to take down a Galaxys Shields

The ISD has 40 Heavy Turbolasers that do 200 GT each

One shot one kill only way the Galaxy's could survive is hit and run tatics with Torps but they don't have enough to do the Job...

definatly, galaxies tend to explode at the drop of a pin.. well unless they are named the Enterprise, then they just explode and get stuck in a temperoral loop:)

How to destroy 5 galaxy class shits:
The heavy tl take 4 (200 gigatons should suffice to kill them) and the remaining one is cut to ribbons by the light ones (6 megatons each). Easy victory. That's so easy it's almost no fun anymore.
Oh well.

Now according to "Pegasus" torpedoes are a max of 400 kilotons? If so, it take 500 000 photon torpedoes to match a single MHTL shot. 5 galaxies would only have 1250.

If you look at those numbers, you could get the impression 2 or 3 ISDs would be suffiecient to defeat the whole fed fleet...

It's almost enough to make me stop scaling via WEG for accurate HTL firepower.

I remember hearing about a fan-fic that had a single stardestroyer ripping apart the Federation...

Mr Bean: I'll one up that.
4x Eclipse-class SLs, mounted horizontally. A ring of high-powered repulsers redirects the beam for destroying opposing cap-ships, space-stations, Death Stars, random moons, etc.
1x DS1-power SL, mounted axially for planet cracking.
