If Arnold stays true to himself, and is honest with the people, he will eat Davis' Cheereos.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

National Security Advisor? Secretary of State? How high up the national food chain could he get before hitting the ceiling of limitations for folks born outside the US? Henry Kissinger got pretty high up...
Ahnuld could hold any national office except President and Vice-President. In the case that by some accident, everyone ahead of him in the line of succession was killed or incapacitated, he would get skipped and they'd move the office below his. Since the succession beyond the Vice-President is determined by Congress, not the Constitution, there's no conflict.

Arnie sez:
"The politicians are fiddling, fumbling and failing," he said. "This is why I am going to run for governor."
Sweet Christmas, I love this guy. If I lived in California, I would vote for him. I just HATE it when my politicians fiddle, fumble, and FAIL.

"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

My guess is that it has something to do with Arnold's relative social liberalism.

Arnold being pro-gun control?

Shouldn't that make the universe explode or something? :wtf:

Anyway...

With Gov. Arnie and Gov. Ventura, California and Montana (I think it is) will kick any other state's ass, and take their lunch money. Thus solving the defecit. :D

And say what you will about Jesse, but the dude's a SEAL. Gotta respect that.

In a Maxim interview he bragged about having an arsenal of private weapons. According to the right wingnuts, anyone left of Heston is a gun control extremist.

Actually he was an UDT swimmier, not a SEAL. The organizations did eventually merge, but years after he'd left.

Close enough for me. :)

Fisher: yes, that to.

Wong: Ah... Well, that makes more sense. Arnold as pro-gun control is like Hugh Heffner leading the anti-porn brigade!

"Not making California law stricter on guns but keeping it the same" would probably still qualify as pretty tough on gun control to the average American--they have pretty tight gun-control laws. However, I'd have to hear his opinion on the current court cases pending against the constitutionality of several of those laws before deciding if he's really "pro-gun control" or not.

There is a massive difference in training and employment you know. Rangers are closer to normal infantry.

Larry Flint want's to kill las Vegas. :-D Specifically he wants to open up the entire state of California to gambling so they can quickly pay off the state's budget problems, and do it without raising taxes. Just tax gambling instead.

Puts some casinos in all the hot touristy spots in California and do you think many people will be taking trips out into the desert of Nevada to get to Las Vegas?

Plenty. Vegas has drawing power that goes beyond just being a place where gambling is legal. It's more like a theme park than a city, and people will go just to say "We went to Vegas". Statewide legalized gambling in California will pull people away from places like Reno and Indian casinos, but if Vegas had to survive by being the only show in town, it would have folded up long ago.

How good is Jesse Ventura doing as governor in Montana/Missouri/Missisipi?

God, you have to envy the US-system.

While outsiders can get into high offices pretty fast, in most countries nobody, who hasn´t served for two or three decades in a political party will become governor or president with all the problems connected to it.
The optimist thinks, that we live in the best of all possible worlds and the pessimist is afraid, that this is true.

"Don't ask, what your country can do for you. Ask, what you can do for your country." Mao Tse-Tung.
