for thos who dont know what sturmbot is it's the bot program for day of defeat (a ww2 mod for half-life) who'd would win (not the bots arent vary smart)

Does the UFP actually have a standing army, or are only the security "red shirts" to serve as ground troops?

Seriously I believe they only have Red-shirts.

I have never seen them employ any true ground pounders persay that weren't culled from Starfleet.

I say that, because in the preview for the upcoming ST movie, I thought I saw what appeared to be ground assault vehicles. I'm really interested to know the truth on this one. Some Trekkie out there may know....
