Not as much as the thought of Mexican food in Europe, but, still.
Tacos,
authentic tacos, have little to no resemblance to the crunchy variety most people are familiar with.
Ask for a "burrito" in Tijuana, and they'll probably direct you to a donkey show.
Nachos are purely American.
Enchiladas aren't made with meat, unlike most restaurant varieties people are familiar with.
