That's odd. Normally, when guys can't score with a girl, they won't call her a slut, since that makes them look even worse (they can't even score with a girl whose legs are permanently open). In my experience, guys with attitude problems will call her a "bitch" or a "dyke" instead.

Yes I have also experienced manuever 87A "She is a lesbo man." manuever. But sometimes a guy wants to tar her with a nasty reputation and sometimes in an office environment calling a woman a slut makes people think twice on how she got to where she is.

Calling a woman a bicth to many people means she's just driven and someone you may want on your team. Calling her slut opens up a host of possibilities like sleeping her way to the top and I have found that women react far more negatively to a possible slut than men do because as one friend put it, "Why work so damned hard if all I had to do was drop to my knees?"

Ah, I see. I was thinking of social environments other than the office. I can see how the term "slut" could be used in that context to poison the well.

Hmm. I just can't understand this thread. I mean, I read the words, but they might as well be cookie recipies beamed to me from Alpha Centauri. The question is why, and I'm starting to formulate this theory, actually two of them, potentially competing ones at that.

Either the sexual liberation hasn't reached out of Scandinavia, or human beings really are completely different out there to the point of being another species. Maybe both is true. Hopefully, neither is.

Still, why would someone acting stupid be considered an attractant? And why, in the name of all that is holy, brand someone a slut just for having a bit of fun? Most of the criticism I've heard on such behavior usually comes from other females, and I just don't understand. Then again, maybe I'm not equipped to. Or maybe I'm just too tired.

This is be a rude OT thread hijack, but Scandinavians are often used for gentic comparisons. Any isolated population such as those living on a peninsula become inbred through lack of contact with others.
Cornish people are inbred too (and they live on grnaite, so they're all mutants as well)

I know, we've also been isolated enough that a lot of genetics research has been done on our population because of the possibilities it has offered, and there have been some pretty big discoveries too. But you want isolated and inbred, Iceland is the place to go, a population of 200,000 on an island in the middle of nowhere that hardly anybody ever wants to go to (and those who do go don't stay...)

Where do you live Dark Hellion?, because I'm moving there. In my school I had the total opposite. The dumb bitches thought they were smart, the slutty ones would never ever recognize how much of a slut they were. "I fucked with two guys in the same party (NOT at the same time), why do you call me a slut? I was drunk, blah blah blah." And I don't forget the dumb bitches who called themselves "communists" or "anarquists" and bought all the trendy cloth, trendy music the newest cell-phone, etc.etc. What I hated most is that they didn't even know what the fuck they were talking about and call me a fascist! I live just outside the Quad Cities, in Illinois.
And yah wedge, you got the exact opposite problem. At my school, far too many really intellegent girls believed they were dumb, and far too many girls that should have easily landed a stable and loving boyfriend, instead went with the guy that would fuck their brains out, because they thought it was nessecary. I was told straight up by the girl that went out with my friend that she liked me more, but she thought it would be better for her image to go out with my friend.

Yeah, but here in South Louisiana it's different. They call you a racist because you are the voice of dissent when they actually are racists. Then I ask if they support nterracial relations of any type and they say and thats shut them up. Gah, people here are so fucking stupid.

It doesn't appear as though that's the case - I live in Denmark, and it seems like most of the immigrants would rather marry other immigrants than the native Danes. The only exception to this rule are the Asian immigrants - for some reason, they apparently have fewer inhibitions with marrying Danish people. (Most of the immigrants living in Denmark are from the Middle East, IIRC)

Sorry, by stable I meant longer than a month. And I am no hot stuff either. That was 2 years ago and that was the last time a girl actively showed interest in me. I have to do all the hunting myself, which is fun because I usually find a way to piss them off in under 10 minutes.
As for Innerbrat, Eleas, and Edi, keep the hijack somewhere else.
