Tatooine Ghost

You don't really have to have read anything beforehand. Knowing the potential significance of the Chimeara and the stormtrooper commander would be handy, but not vital. That, and it's a damn fine book, and it can add quite a bit to EP1 and EP2 (as in, what went on between the films with Anakin's mom).

The only good series, IMO, are the HTTE and Rouge Squadron. Though I disliked the Xwing books after the bacta war.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

I thought that Rogue Squadron sucked. He should read HttE and SbS.

Timothy Zahn - Thrawn trilogy. The first SW books I have read were those - and they really sucked me into the SW universe.
