Well, if you weren't there, you wouldn't understand how it was. Driving through Brooklyn, with nary a light on the dark, deserted street...It was one of the most unsettling things I've ever seen. Every other time I'd been there, it was bright and lit and lively, now, it was so dark I could see the stars even with the almost full moon...
