Luckily we've got nice big creative brains
yes creative brains that, if used correctly, can destroy every viable ecosystem on this planet.
That is something of an exaggeration. We can alter those ecosystems, but destroying them is far beyond our current capabilities. The energy requirement for destroying the global ecosystem hovers around 1 billion megatons.
Mike you know what I mean. I dont mean a nuke. I mean through habitat destruction, deforestation, polution etc.

Note to self: Get popcorn and watch Alyrium drown himself in said chain-mail. Or at least hope he does.
They make shark resistant chain mail for divers, I believe that was what he is talking about. Note, however, I said shark resistant, not shark proof!
Sounds like a good way to give the surgeons something besides shark teeth to dig out of you. Any shark with a bad enough bite to make you want chain mail is probably going to cut right through it anyway. Just cause they sell it doesnt mean it does more then jack shit.
Actually, the chainmail does work rther well... Even a 5 foot shark can cause serious damage, defleshing your leg for example. Great whites, attcking at speed yes, chain-male does not work, but against something like a tiger shark, hammerhead or blue... It works very well.

It works against a Tiger Shark? Wow....I thought a Tiger Shark had too strong of a bite for the suit to be effective.
Granted, a LARGE tiger will get through, if it makes a protracted effort, but smaller ones... nope. Their jaw pressure really isnt that much greater than any other shark.
Their strength is in the design of their teeth.

None of which are remotely close to sterilizing the earth nor ever will be.

Those teeth are designed for sawing through just about anything. Turtle shells etc. But to do that, they ust grip the turtle, and saw at its shell for some time...

I was watching the begining of RoboShark (I think that's what it was), and the program said that great whites can learn 80 times (not percent) faster than cats! All of its hunting behavior is learned; it's not instinct.

They Learn?!?!? I thought they just molded us to their whims....
Seriously though, I took a miss on Shark Bite. I was too busy cleaning the apartment before Nitram's Mom arrived.
Nitram, slightly high on cough syrup: Do you know you're beautiful?
Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.
