Did I get laid in boot camp ?

Lets see.. Hmmmm.. Parris Island 1967....

No.. But we got fucked on a regular basis.
That about covers it. Though it was San Diego in 91.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Sorry, Basic for me was Infantry at Fort Benning, all guys. There was a female Spec-4 in the arms room, but the only time we ever saw her was for weapons check out and turn in, and the Drill Sergeants were all over us. We could not even make a comment.

Later, when I was the Drill Instructor for a co-ed company, I had two young girlies that were at the end of their training cycle on a detail for cleaning weapons. They were cute, not hot, but cute, and they were not in the slightest bit subtle about their desires. I probably could have abused power severely but thought better of it-- it would be just my luck to have to explain to people with shiny things on their hat why I'd knocked up a couple of little Privates during my brief sojourn to Fort Jackson....
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

You're swedish right? I wonder how your military duty differed than that from the US, seeing as how we have the largest military budget in the world and you guys all go home at five o'clock these days.

Yea I'm a Swede.

And we have conscription so the average day in military life differs quite a lot.

I did my time in the military 89-90.

Evening / Weekend pass was the norm and not the exeption so it was quite easy to go out and do the town.

I did smuggle my GF into the barracs at one time just to show her the layout and where i slept.

The LT saw her when I tried to get her in but did't say anything about it he just told me the day after "don't do it again"

And No I did not have sex with her in the barracks I wanted to but she did't so.

We had a female company on the top floor of the division my company was in. I think maybe our RCPO was getting some action but he's the only one that getting around unsupervised in the building on a regular basis. I know I saw him and the female RCPO making eyes at each other...

Now, we did get one guy who got dropped back into our company. He had gotten caught having sex with a female recruit so he ended up getting set back into our company.

For most of boot you're usually too tired to even think about getting horny but it kicks back in when you start seeing the female recruits in your training group near the end of boot. Dungarees and the "ice cream man" whites seem to be designed to mold to the female ass. That's great when everyone is in post boot shape. It gets really scary not too long after that though. :)
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.

Basic for me was at Ft. LeonardWood in '87. Was a 12B and was 17 at the time, and ours was a platoon of young men. The only females we saw were at the mini-PX, but trips to the mini-PX and other places were closely monitored by drill sergeants.

(Technically I'm not a warwolf, but still...) :P

All the women we had in the regiment served in the staff company and I don't have a gf whom I could've taken to the regiment on the "family and friends" day, so changes would've been pretty slim.

Anyhow, my friend almost did it with his gf when she went to WC, but an NCO just happened to walk by, so he had to quit his plans. He said to me that one of the guys in his company did it with his gf/wife and almost got busted during the evening inspection. Supposedly when one of the NCOs joked "Did anyone do it with his girl?", some idiot started: "Recruit -uff" but was fortunately silenced in time.

In completely OT-related question: how does the basic training last in the US Army and what happens after that?

IIRC, Army boot camp is eight weeks. How long the A school is, depends on what MOS you get.

Marine Boot is thirteen weeks long (last I checked) and A school depends on what your MOS is. All non Infantry MOS's have to go through four weeks of Marine Combat Training then off to their MOS school.

When I was in, you had to go to MCT no matter what your MOS was, so I did four weeks of MCT and then went next door for six weeks of School of Infantry.

Which of course meant no females within a 20-mile radius, though outside that radius you had the whole fo Southern Cali :)

Anyway I was at PI in '00 and we did have 4th BN females around us...once in a blue moon. If we so much as stared that way too long our DIs would smoke us.

There was four females in my company in 1997 (delta company 795th MP BN) They were all sufficiently ugly so as to, even after four months of non exposure to pussy, nobody wanted any part of them.

Pretty much same as above.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
