Soory if I sound stupid or something but i've been seeing promos for this thing he made called "Bowling For Columbine" and I was just wondering wtf this is and if it is worth buying or renting??

Michael Moore is a socialist filmmaker. BFC is a documentary about American gun culture...his other films include Roger and Me and Canadian Bacon.

I've never seen it, since I'm not inclined to see what I know in advance I won't like.

He's a documentary filmmaker of dubious accuracy. It'd be more accurate to say he's a propogandist for the far left. He's very skilled at deceptive editing and treating innuedo and rumor as fact. All in all not very trustworthy.

See it and make up your own mind. I haven't seen it, but he's apparently very critical of American culture in it.
A lot of people have claimed his bias is so strong that it's more propaganda than documentary.

No need for a PM...as I recall, he said that if the 9/11 passengers had been predominantly black instead of white the tragedy would have been averted. He also said that the people who died in 9/11 didn't deserve to die on account of the fact that they likely did not vote for George W. Bush.

To be fair, only about a quarter of the documentary is based on fudged facts, misdirection, and other dishonest means of presentation. The remainder seems to be legit.

Legit in that it hasn't been edited to decieve the veiwer. It's stilll insanely biased and takes the worst examples and uses them as standard.

To be fair, he doesn't unfairly single out American gun culture, pointing out that Canada has a similar one and experiences less firearms violence.
