So I've heard that the East Coast generally gets a lot of rain (and it did while I was there, as well). So do you get a lot of rain where you are?

andrew lasted a day. the blizzard of 78 lasted three. and it took a good 2 weeks to dig out. Imagine snow and ice hitting your face at hurricane velocity.Vorlon1701 wrote:Andrew was worse.Dalton wrote:NYC and surrounds get plenty of rain; we're right in the middle of the path of most hurricanes. I live in Western Australia. We do go for over half a year with out rain.Shinova wrote:Rain? What's that?![]()
I live in California, so you could go like a half a year without rain.
The local hills usually get dusted with snow every year. 1/4" or so, a few times a year. However, ponds freezing over at sea level is a rarity indeed!Shinova wrote:Rain? What's that?![]()
