Re: "Health and Fitness" forum?
We have forums sticking out of our ears as it is. It isn't that popular a topic around here, apart from the occasional brief thread. I say no.BoredShirtless wrote:Health and Fitness forum? What do you think? Sporting advice and latest news, health nutrition and diet, that sort of thing.

WTF?? We don't have that many topics on health and fitness
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."
I don't believe there is sufficient traffic to warrent another forum pertaining to Health and Fitness.

While we're at it, let's start a Hamel forum
It'll be about dolphinsechs, Rodney King, and Lyndon Larouche's merry band of ice cream men.

Speaking of, whatever happened to that idea? I remember Alex Moon suggesting it a few months ago and there seemed to be a reasonable amount of interest in having a SDN book club.innerbrat wrote:not until I get my book club, you don't

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

I see absolutely no need nor point to it nor is they're enough traffic on the issue to even warrant a private forum. As for a book club, do you really even need a forum for that? One thread in of topic or the Brotherhood of the money ought to do and then if you do find you need a forum later on its much easier to justify it.

I can do thirty five non stop, usually do three series of twenty everyday while on vacations, when I can't go to the gymn. I have no idea if that's good or not, many of my MTB friends can do fifty, a fact which tends to piss me off.Wicked Pilot wrote:I bet half the people on this board couldn't do a single pull-up.

Are you sure we are talking about the same thing here? The numbers you have given are insanely high. I am of course talking about where you hang on to a bar, pull yourself up so that your chin clears it, return to the hanging postion with your arms fully outstretched, and repeat.Colonel Olrik wrote:I can do thirty five non stop, usually do three series of twenty everyday while on vacations, when I can't go to the gymn. Sorry, not the same thing. I'm talking of push ups (I think, you lie on the floor face down and push up..Wicked Pilot wrote: Are you sure we are talking about the same thing here? Well then, assuming you're near my age (22), 35 at a time is not great, but is probably better than average.Colonel Olrik wrote:Sorry, not the same thing. I'm talking of push ups (I think, you lie on the floor face down and push up..) damn your englissssh.
