I found this old render when I was poking around in my old hard drive. I made it a while back when I was experimenting with lofting in Rhino.
Thoughts?

You should make it shoot exploding warp cores at the enemy, Trek's most potent weapon.
Anyway it looks good, but not as a Defiant follow on. The Defiant was sensibly built compact, which would give it good hull strength among other things, while this ship's frame with those two big cut outs would be quite weak.

"This cult of special forces is as sensible as to form a Royal Corps of Tree Climbers and say that no soldier who does not wear its green hat with a bunch of oak leaves stuck in it should be expected to climb a tree"

I had a design for a ST ship, but with absolutely no artistic talent, never really got around to making even a MS Paint Scetch of it. The Hazard-Class(I think the Hazard Team should be canonized) Basicly a special operations and replacement for the Iwo Jima Class. Cresant Shaped instead of a sausar, on the tip of each cresent is a large transporter system that can be extended outside of the shields allowing to transport in battle with out lowering it's defenses. And a large shuttle bay for operations.
