So, what did I miss?

Post by Asst. Asst. Lt. Cmdr. Smi »

I underestimated the time it would take for an internet connection to be established, so I'm arriving a week and a half ahead of when I wanted to. However, I have a high-speed internet connection now.

Anyway, since I was gone for two weeks, perhaps my longest absence ever, I would like to know what happened while I was away?

Kynes has returned, sort of; Alyeska has gone apeshit on him for no good reason (Alyeska, if you come in here and try to debate that, I'm going to kick your pansy ass all the way back to st-v-sw.net)... there's more fanfic, of course... And just the usual shenanigans.

Hamel cut his dick on some stale bread and for some reason the first thing he did was log on and tell us.

According to the tale...he was eating a sandwich, took a shower...exited the shower, went back to eating sandwich naked...and a piece of stale bread cut his cock.

He took a bite out of a piece of bread while sitting at his computer in a state of nature. The stale crust fell from his mouth and gashed his wee-wee.....

Good one. :D

I think "apeshit" is a little soft in the description.

I don't remember if you were here for it, but Kelly left..

And as per the anal sex discussion.. that's been ongoing since before I joined the board (nearly a year ago). In fact, the most popular post at the time of my coming here was *the* Anal Sex Thread.

When did Kelly leave? I don't remember that. Seems like the sort of thing that would get a 20-page thread started.

Was that all it took? Well not that surprising really given her history. No loss

I thought everyone knew this, since it took place in public forums. Somebody posted some flamebait calling all Northern cities (eg- New York) shitholes, so some people flamed the South in return. Kelly called Durandal an asshole for flaming the South, and he refused to apologize (and in fact, he flamed her back) because he felt he did nothing wrong (and most people agreed with him), so she left.

Unfortunate that things had to go that way, but we're certainly not going to run around censoring or profusely apologizing for anything that might offend a Southerner around here.

Really? I completely missed that flamebait post...

I saw a flareup between Durandal and Kelly in another thread though, and I thought that's what caused the Venting blurb, and the subsequent events.

And indeed, no reason to censor things that may offend us Southerners...we all know that it's only a matter of time before we rise up again and control the world.

Oh, I gave up on that thread about page four.

If you're so thinskinned that people's words about an entire geographic region offend you to the point where you want to leave, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Good riddance.

I didn't noticed anything until Durandal's rant in the HOS, which I fully agreed with because I was fed up with her eariler complaints.

That explains alot and I'm happy with the result.

Unfortunate that things had to go that way, but we're certainly not going to run around censoring or profusely apologizing for anything that might offend a Southerner around here.
Anyone who complains as much as her and then leaves over such a thing is no loss. Anyway I think its about time to end this tagent, it no longer matters.

I never liked Kelly anyway. A grown woman who so enjoys playing up to the sexual fantasies of a bunch of horny teenagers on the Internet strikes me as a strange character. Or a dirty old man.
