Who is the best Bond?

Post by YT300000 »

Which of these actors is the best Bond? Before his tragic death, Desmod Llewyn said that Brosnan will be the definitive Bond, and I agree with him.

For those of you who will come here to flame me about my opinion: Looks like I got your attention. :D

A no-brainer. Connery. Even if Fleming hated an unknown Scot bodybuilder playing a suave English MI6 agent, he is still the master and has paid his service to mankind with that role alone. Pity about his accent.

Then it's a toss-up between Brosnan and Dalton. Brosnan has had some great times as Bond, but I also like the Dalton films which emphasize more on the darker side and history of the character and not some comic book style good guy all the time.

This is a joke, right? Connery is the ONLY Bond. The rest of them were second rate also-rans, and that includes the pretty-haired dandy playing 007 now.

Brosnan looks the part the best, in my opinion. But Connery is still the best Bond.

Connery, but Brosnan, no matter how much the man pisses me off, is also good at what he does.

Wasn't Woody Allen Bond in one of the movies? If so, then he is the best.

I am, 1953. Sure, Bond was an American, and the acting was horrible, but it was a movie, written by Ian Fleming, called Casino Royale.

Connery, the Bond in the all time greatest 007 movie, Goldfinger. Connery just defined playing Bond (and NOT just because he was first but because he was so damn good at it). Moore just sucked as Bond. Brosmon's good, but he can't beat the orginal.

A little off topic, but the website I took those images in my first post from had .movs of all the gun-barrel opening scenes in the films, but they are not there anymore. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on them?
