I do think we lost something uninteneded when we switched to the STGOD Mk II so it woudl be great to go back to the days of hugely overpowered vessels and massive armies. Especially because it would mean I'm back in the bigs :).

And what about WeeMadAndo?
Ando is still here.

Rayray and Deimos the Wonder Spy were both banned.

Jon Boyd left a while ago for school-related reasons, as I recall. He got a rather nasty sendoff.
I know Ando's still here.. but was he on ASVS before SD? I know I posted on ASVS a few times, but forgot the intricacies of actually doing so..

I was an ASVSer too, under the handle "Seanbigofmydeja." (What can I say...I have a poor imagination.) I didn't post much, though.

Yes, he was there for quite a long time before this transient little board was even created.

Okay, STGOD lesson number two, which you should have learned quite a long time ago, Phong:
Marina has long, unannounced absences and shouldn't be counted on to perform important tasks.

What's lesson number one, you ask?

Trust no one.

Well not to be rude...fuck that I'll be rude:)

Phong has forgotten more about STGODs than most people could hope to learn even with the Official Prima Strategy Guide.

Lesson #2, Corollary: Marina has long, unannounced posts and shouldn't be underestimated during STGODs.

Thus the young Trekkie said "You know it would be much better if you guys had your own newsgroup." And the creator didst say "Let there be a newsgroup!" And it was done, and it was good. The creator didst then say "Let there be a charter!" And it was done, and it sucked. And thus the creator was made fun of and beaten with sticks, driven out of the hallowed lands of ASVS for all eternity. So it was written, so it was done.
