Yes, I think that Dr. Saxton should have to wait and so should Kynes. I've had to wait until I make 2500 or so to get a custom title as have alot of people, and people shouldn't be able to just waltz in and jump to the head of the line because due to favoritism. I haven't seen Kynes post anything particularly memorable or mythic more than anyone else, so unless he starts living the legend here, he can get the custom title of his choosing after he gets the necessary amount of posts.

Brian Young had a Sith Apprentice title from the very beginning, as did Wayne Poe. Kynes has been around for longer than you, he's known Mike for longer than you, and he's contributed more to the versus debates than you and 90% of the members of this board. I'd say he definitely qualifies for a custom title.

This isn't really how it goes. Generally, you need 2500 posts before you can request a custom title - but if an admin decides to, he can grant one at any time. I decided that Kynes, being a veteran of the debates from long ago, deserved a title based on popular demand by other ASVSers. Admin's Perogative.

I've been on this board since the very beginning and he just started. This is not ASVS. So far, he's done nothing particularly of note that makes him deserve a custom title over anyone else. Point to a thread on this board that makes him better than me and thus deserving of a custom title and you might have a point, but until you do, this is nothing but favoritism.

This place is the successor of ASVS. ASVSers have contributed much to Mike's site and did all the grunt work in the Versus debates. So yes, we get some preferential treatment. Search the FUQ and fanfic archive for Kynes' name. He's contributed a shitload.
