If any celebrity badmouths America, they're going to be called cowardly, and people are going to feign total outrage and start boycotts over a hill of beans. That's just how the current political climate is.
Not really. Most celebrities who have been vocal about their opinions have not been boycotted (no one is boycotting anything by George Clooney or Martin Sheen, for example, and I doubt anyone will be boycotting Johnny Depp). The Ditzy Twits are unique in that their audience was particularly sensitive to America bashing, thus they were boycotted.
Okies, I'll take back what I said over the boycotting and the coward thing. But the hill of beans thingie still stands TALL AND PROUD
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

Seriously, why do the words of an actor who doesn't even live in this country anymore bother you so much? Bah, I recall that whatshername chick that was badmouthing France because she thought everyone there was lazy (and interestingly was a huge fan of Thatcher, an insane market-worshipping, psuedo Randian witch who thought there was no such thing as society). Did you see any rabble rousers calling for a blacklist in her case?

I mean, beeeeeeee, how many people badmouth their home country each and every day?

If you are so obsessed with actors who make simple-minded remarks about America, just start a boycott or something. At any rate, cut the commie/nazi shit, okies?

And she was lamenting over how lazy she thought France was. Then she started having verbal orgasms over how hard working the Brits were (or was it the Americans?).

Brits. And her beef is with lazy union members, primarily.

It's a good thing Johnny Depp said that. If Streisand said left the country and said she wouldn't move back to America until the political climate changed, people would have another reason to vote Republican.

Eh, I don't really care. Depp has a right to his opinions, after all.
Don't hate; appreciate!

Speaking of which, didn't that used douche Alec Baldwion swear that he was going to leave the country if Bush was elected?

I don't have a black list, but I have a brown list! Named after the color most resembling their work. Shit.
Based on the content of their work.
There is no connection between character, and talent. (Wagner, Polanski)
His most recent movie is VERY good, and these comments are pretty tame.(I have yet to hear ANY but the most glowing of reviews)

AFAIK that comment can be attributed to his ex Kim Basinger, who btw is still hot.

Yo Iceberg.
I don't want everyone who disagrees with me to leave, just the ones who say they will leave if the big bad Republicans gave the gall to win an election.
Don't make promises you never intend to keep, to show the level of your political commitment, renig, and expect anything but contempt. It was worth making a big deal about before the election, what changed?

After all Babs, Sheener, and Baldweeny are hardly everyone who disagrees with me eh? Nice hyperbole, and straw man.
Would that they were the only ones who disagreed.
I don't even want YOU to leave.

If Kim is the source of the moving to France line for Alec, he can stay.

He claimed it was taken out of context. Wouldn't you love to see this supposed context?
