What about being objective? Admins have to be objective when running the board, or they aren't doing their jobs correctly. Favoritism is one trait an admin can't have.

Why is the requirement for custom titles there in the first place then? Why should anyone have to wait? I'm the first one to call it just a silly message board, but there are two things I hate, and those are elitism and favoritism, and I give people who practice both or either of those things a hard time where ever I see it. Naturally, I'm going to go against it here, because I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't, wouldn't I?

Are you accusing me of abusing my powers? I am MORE than objective when it comes to moderating and administrating this board. Giving a custom title to a personal friend does NOT threaten that objectivism since it does NOT affect my work.

Well, you are willing to bend the rule against people getting a custom title only after they've made 2500 or so posts and you have admitted that it's out of favoritism of a select group of people over other people. I'm sorry if a non-ASVS pleb such as myself dares question the practice, but I'm an honest guy, and honesty compels me to question how a person can be completely and total objective and play favoritism at the same time?

Do you know how being an Eagle Scout is appealing for an employer? That's sort of what ASVS is for this board. This isn't ASVS, but it is "Son of ASVS" or "Deuxième ASVS: Le Revanche" or "ASVS Part Two: Electric Boogaloo." Being a regular on that newsgroup is something of a distinction here.
