I'm talking about the fact you can see the galactic disk in the sky, or that of another galaxy, either way Dantooine should be outside the disk. And that's an in-comic visual.Ender wrote:We have numerous sources saying Dantooine is in the OR, and one KJA source where it is arguable that he is looking at the galaxy metaphorically and we are seeing into his thoughts, adn you see the latter as a more reasonable source?Illuminatus Primus wrote:Look at the Sith War comics. Dantooine is actually outside the galactic disk.
And besides, who says that the maps are wrong? Dantooine could be exactly where they say it is, but above the plane of the disk. The maps are, after all, 2-D, and the galaxy is 3-D.
It helps explain why Dantooine is so remote despite the fact that further outlying systems are more developed and have more industry, population, etc. And the galaxy doesn't terminate along specific lines. The halo, the bulge, and the disk are all parts of the galaxy. The Old Republic is in the galaxy.
