Please help, problem with animated images.

Umm... Hmm... Weird. I don't know if this has been mentioned before, probably has, but the search came up negatory for me. Anyway, I'm having a problem where any animated images I view (some of the emoticons on this forum, for example) don't actually animate.

All I'm getting is a static first frame.

I don't know wether the problem is with Internet Explorer (I am about to find out) or my firewall (ZoneAlarm Pro 4), but it is becoming extremely annoying.

It could be something in the advanced part of the IE's settings. For example, "Play animations in web pages"

Unfortunately I already thought of that and it didn't work.

This thing is beginning to give me a migraine.

Why is it always the smallest problems which seem to annoy me the most?
