I found him to be disturbing but a sober reality check about the cost of war. But I could not help myself, wondering how you clean him up. In my minds eye I saw a poor guy with a big snow shovel putting his boot to the blade and going SCOOOOP.

I had the same reaction. The guy who posted the pics was obviously a grade A asshole too. I don't see anything funny in the squashed remains of a person being repeatedly run over by tanks. It happens when the corpse is lying on the road the armor column is driving on, but it's not something I'd be making jokes about. Nor about the other pictures of the dead.

He he? My initial reaction to this was "you son of a bitch!". But then I started to wonder why he would laugh, and then it hit me: it's how he deals with the shitty things he's seen or done. It isn't easy to kill a man. It comes with a shitload of emotional baggage. You could go crazy thinking about it.
