Most rape victims will suffer through the rape at gunpoint or knifepoint rather than die. This indicates that in their judgement, death is worse than rape. Not that either is OK of course, but death is still worse.

A theatre group made a playcalled the Laramie Project out of a series ofinterviews with several people of Laramie, Wyoming, where Shepard lived. It had 8 actorsplaying 70 different parts. Anyway, that quote is in there, and when I auditioned for a local production for it, the director told those auditioning that Phelps' cronies would be at the performance. "For tow reasons," he said when asked how hecould be sure. "Phelps has been at every performance of this play in this area, and I invited him."

Anyway, I didn't get it, so at least I won't have the dilemma of whether or not I should kill Phelps when I see him.

I hope that piece of shit come to the production that way the gay straight alliance can demonize him after the performance(we have many membersm of spectrum that are also in thespian society myself included)
