'Till We Meet Again....Goodbye for now.... :(

Post by J »

Well, the SoS already knows that I'll be leaving for Nepal, and right now I've just about got everything in order for my trip. I've gotten a job as a bank attache in Nepal, where I'll be doing and assisting in various studies that the bank is doing on the impacts of the projects they're financing. It's a 16 month internship/job program that Princeton organizes with various foreign companies & governments. So for the next 16 months I'll be a bit out of touch to say the least, don't know if I'll be getting any internet access over there.

So yeah, there's a lot I want to say but I can't find words to express myself. I thank you all for your kindness and friendship, I haven't met anyone here other than my BF but well, you're good people. I'll miss you all, so thanks, and until we meet again.

Wow! That is a big step. A little adventure of your own. Best of luck, I hope you gain many valuable memories from your trip. I dont think I could have made such a trip when I was your age. Heck Im not sure Id want to something like that now. It takes courage to do that.

May you have many experiences that shape your life and hopefully all of them are safe and fun. Oh, I hope you and your BF are not too sad.

Have fun. Nepal is a great country, if a tad cold and windy. Or so I hear. :)

Yeah, I'm only 23 but this isn't my first adventure away from home and it isn't my first time in Nepal either, but this is the longest I've ever been away from home. I'm really excited to have this chance of a lifetime, but it is sad leaving behind all the ones I love, my family, friends, and all those other special people in my life. I have fond memories of all the places I've been & lived in, and no doubt will have more when I return.

Yeah, I gave him my nudie pictures so he can keep thinking of me, and I said he could snuggle my sister and pretend she's me. :P

But yeah, we're gonna miss each other pretty bad, but we'll manage. Up until last year we've spent far more time apart than together so we'll find a way. It's never easy but we always pull through.

Awfully trust of you. Hopefully he doesn't get into too much trouble.

And then there were 3...

Bye, Jmac. I'm too happy for you to really feel sad about your leaving. Write us c/o Aerius even if you don't have internet access...

Yeah, that's the plan. And if you have anything you want to send to me PM or email my BF and he'll pass it along to me. God, this leaving thing never gets easier.... :(

Good luck.

Nepal sounds like the oppertunity of a lifetime, not the cash bit but the expirience and to get a new view on the world.

Be sure to check back when you return if sd.net is still here

Watch what you eat, not many people have fridges. My friend would probably recommend avoiding meat, he had a few bad experiences in Nepal, but an overall good time.

Have fun!

We'll miss you terribly, sweetie, but I'm sure not as badly as your adorable bf. Take care of yourself, ok? Be safe. *hugs and then spanks* Sorry, had to get one last one in there. :P

What fun, you get to stay in a third world nation currently having a civil war. I'd suggest you invest in a bulletproof vest.
