Jeez...Opinions are one thing but do you lack the comprehension of that you're in fucking social enviroment?

Learn the word: TACT.

As for Shinova's question...use the space bar...it registers.

If that's pointed at me, I'll resond like this: I tend to think more in terms of the big picture. Statistics are [usually] more important than individual cases.

If my family got over my death in a few weeks:

1. I wouldn't care. I'd be dead.
2. Good for them, they would be able to function normally again sooner. My life doesn't mean much in the grand sceme of things.

The problem is, if we focused on every piece of suffering in the world and kept them in our consciousness, I doubt we'd be able to live as marginally happy people.

There's only so much we can care and sympathize for, so we prioritize. Family and friends first, fellow countrymen second, foreigners next, and unknowns last. No one can deny this.

Yes. But don't expect people to like them just because you make them.

Are you fucking stupid or something? You don't say this shit IN A PLACE OF MOURNING. Its like going to a funeral and telling the people to get over it.

Shit, they just burried the last Firefighter last week. I dare say had you voiced your opinion there you might not have been able to walk again.

I would like to see you voice these opinions in a more public setting. I bet you wouldn't. Your only willing to voice your opinions when you know people won't hurt you for how insensitive you are.

Everyone would like to move on,but after this attack we can`t move on when we know we are not safe anymore where ever we go,in an airplane or in the street, some jerk could blow himself up in the middle of a crowd at rush hour.

Now try to move on knowing this.

That could happen before then, but noone really thought about it did they? ... I don't worry about it, we never WERE safe, we never will be. Anyway, a safe life is a boring one, in my opinion...

Anyone heard of the saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."?

I've learned to hold my tongue on many subjects, no matter how opinionated I may be.

Incidently, holding your tongue also keeps your fingers off the keyboard...

There are many on this planet who`d like to trade the excitment you crave for the boring safe life we have.

I try, but I am usually a very vocal person with my opinions, and if someone doesn't agree, oh fucking well... but that's just me... I don't voice my opinions on all things around all people, I know that it is necessary to keep your mouth shut sometimes...

A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

You know, there were some memorials mentioned on the radio (since many people who live near me commute to DC), some very moving stuff--and nothing all day long made me as close to tears as reading this thread. How anyone could callously dismiss someone else's expression of mourning is simply beyond me.

I don't give a shit how overplayed the mention of this tragedy is; it's still that, and people are dealing with it the only ways they know how. Have respect enough to not slander them as they attempt to do just what you're complaining they aren't: getting over it to eventually move on.
