It's sad to see anyone die, but I think it's fair to say that I'll be missing The Man in Black a lot more than Mr. Ritter.

Though, according to Futurama, Three's Company taught Fry how to handle delicate social situations.

Ah, man... Cash was and has always been one of my personal favorites (like Elvis). The 'Man in Black' had more talent in his little finger than any one of these shit head pop singers of modern days. He represented an era when musicians actually had to had talent to make it in the business. This era is quickly coming to an end

This is terrible, terrible news. Johnny Cash was the man, no elaboration needed, and John Ritter was a talented, underrated actor (see Sling Blade). They'll both be missed.

he was pretty good as the preacher in the waltons as well. Still, he will be remembered for his comic genius.

That blows...Cash was an awesome singer and had truly one of the better presences in this day and age.

And honestly Ritter was a funny actor.

So many famous deaths lately. We're losing some of the best this year.

Johnny Cash was a great singer, and one of the only country singers that I really liked. The "Hurt" video only seems more powerful now that he's gone.

Ritter was a surprise. He wasn't that old, and I have not heard of him being sick in any way. I haven't seen him in anything or know much about him, so I can't say much. It's still sad that he died.

I hadn't heard much of Cash, but I knew enough. I always liked Ritter. He seemed like a pretty decent guy.

I think the thing I'll remember Ritter for most is his voice role in the animated movie Flight of Dragons. That thing had a ton of great actors lending to it, and as a kid I remember thinking "That's the three's company guy!"

He was funny, and I really liked his new show. He was one of the kings of physical comedy. None better.

What killed Ritter? My computer won't log onto any news sites now that my internet sucks.

As I understand it through, he had been sick for some time. John Ritter's death just shocked the hell out of me. I wonder what they're goinng to do about his show. They were supposed to air the 2nd seasonsome time this month.

It's rather ironic but I remember an interview with him after his wife died where he said he always thought he'd be the first one to go and that he didn't know how he'd go one with out her. I guess he really couldn't.

He had a undetected heart defect, a tear in his aorta. Its a very rare condition.

I grew up listening to Johnny Cash.

My dad loved hearing him. Somewhere, we've a 45 record of Cash singing "GhostRiders in the Sky". Another of Dad's favorite songs. Another link to the past ........

Wow, I was shocked when my mom told me this morning. Even though I knew Cash wasn't in the best health I was still shocked. And Ritter's death came out of nowhere. Something I need to say is that all of these deaths and tragedies has been so surreal. The Man in Black dying has really set in. Tis a sad day.
