Eh? in english, damnit. I don't understand german, at least not yet. For the people who don't visit the rant thread, I've been asked if I want to spend my next three years in Dortmund, and take a PhD in mech. eng. They're offering 1500€/month and there's a good chance I'm actually chosen. So it's two am and I still can't sleep. Damnit!Alyrium Denryle wrote:Sprechen Sie Deutsch?

WTF IS MY TRANSCRIPT????Dear Mr. ----,
I received your application through ----------.
>From a brief look through your cv you seem to have quite a proper
background. I will discuss your application with Proessor ---, which will probably take until next week. In the meantime I would like to ask you for some detailed information on you such as transcript etc. Please send them directly to my hands.
If we decide on you and find a proper dissertation topic, we will forward your application through the official application process. This official appication process is in fact somewhat more formal. To your information, please have look at the official graduate school webpages at
www.mb.uni-dortmund.de/graduate/
Among other useful information, you will find application forms and such. As you also can see here, the next possible entry date is October 2004. The apllication process has started already.
