Kill Counts

Post by ali-sama »

Which character has the biggest kill count in all of scifi/fantasy and modern tales? This is excluding doomsday devices, aka no nukes or Death Stars allowed. 1-1 deaths, where they personally make the kill.

my suggestions for high kill counts

Himera Kenshin (Ruroni Kenshin)
Leon (The Professional)
John Preston (Equalibrium)
Amoroe Ray (Gundam)
Blade (Blade)

Spell-checked for clarity. ~Dalton

Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo could reasonably be considered to have personally wiped out millions by herself or with Ryo-Ohki.

In the same manner, Frieza from DBZ could apply too.
What's her bust size!?

It's over NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND!!!!!!!!!

Guts, from Berserk. He kills 100 men singlehandledly in one battle and has probably killed hundreds more in other battles.

Topper Harley from "Hot Shots! Part Deux". He racked up a higer kill count than Rambo, Predator, or any other movie ever made. Even had a fancy digital counter to keep track of all the kills.

Yu-Law from "The One" killed 123 of his doppelgangers in parallel universes. All presumably one-on-one kills.

There's also James Bond, who has a remarkably high kill count, mostly one on one.

Of course, if you include area-effect kills that don't involve superweapons, Galactus takes the cake. He's been consuming planets for millions of years.

I think Jason Voores has racked up over 100 onscreen kills. The elves from LOTR probly have some high numbers because of their long lives, but thats all offscreen/out of the story.

Wait- I just realized that in Marvel Comics, Death itself is an actual character. And Death has killed every living thing which ever died in the history of the universe, all one on one. Bingo: we have a winner.

Nah, Death doesn't do the actual killing, Death is who shows up immediately after the being dies. :P

EDIT: But while you're talking about Marvel, Thanos killed off a large percentage of the universe with the Infinity Gauntlet once.

Yeah, but Death from Discworld is cooler.

Oh and Death from Family Guy wants a word. :P

From the episodes of Family Guy with Death in it, it seems that he not only kills people with a touch, but his presence causes Death. Which is why he had to be on the plane in order for the cast of Dawson's Creek to die. Well they were supposed to anyways. Especially given that when Death isn't active, stuff that causes Death doesn't kill, so one could say that Death causes you to die.

He might count.

Nope, Death does the actual killing. When Death was destroyed by the Molecule Man (during his period of omnipotence), nothing could die any more.
EDIT: But while you're talking about Marvel, Thanos killed off a large percentage of the universe with the Infinity Gauntlet once.
Marvel is the ultimate wank-verse when it comes to cosmic superpowers. I did enjoy reading it when I was a kid, but its constant drive for one-upmanship is a little silly.

I do believe we have just seen the most extreme and contrived example of Deus Ex Machina ever. Deimos Anomaly could take pointers from Marvel!

And yet, ironically, in the fighting game Marvel Vs Capcom 2, he can get his ass whooped by a little girl.

Also, just to make a note, Amuro Ray doesn't even begin to contend with the real contenders for the most 1 on 1 kills. His record is at best a little over 120 (source: Gundam Ace). Good for a 14-year career, but I'm quite certain there's bigger fish out there.
