What about the Lovely Angels -- Kei and Yuri? They've got quite a body count under their belts.

Hmm, I'd say that was more of a inanimate damage kind of backlog there, they destroy things but I'm sure most people tend to avoid being in the same solar system as the "Lovely Angels".

my suggestions for high kill counts

Himera Kenshin (Ruroni Kenshin)
Leon (The Professional)
John Preston (Equalibrium)
Amoroe Ray (Gundam)
Blade (Blade)

Spell-checked for clarity. ~Dalton
Well given that a million other names have been positied I'll be the oddball and chose from the list:

Himura (its with a u Dalton :D ) Kenshin. The man personally wasted batttalions of troops during the revolution along with his various other tasks of mundane bloodshed by the hundreds. His personal kill count is beyond excessive.

Miowara Tomokato and Miowara Shiro of Samurai Cat fame, thanks to time travel, narrative expediency, and extreme dedication both have body counts in the low tens of millions; largely accomplished with swords of man-portable fire arms.

None other than our own Luke Skywalker. When the Death Star was destroyed a million and a half odd people died with it. Though to be honest i consider that a very low end number but it was in EU.

The cast of Ninja scroll, Gungrave and any character from Dynasty Warriors 3-4, A thousand plus kills in one stage is enough, especially with a polearm.

Stormbringer.
In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. If I wish, I can smash it all. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that raze the mounds of humanity. Out of chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God: the title suits me well.

The Shrike: I think it's kill count would be up in the tens of thousands, minimum.

Nope, Death does the actual killing. When Death was destroyed by the Molecule Man (during his period of omnipotence), nothing could die any more.
EDIT: But while you're talking about Marvel, Thanos killed off a large percentage of the universe with the Infinity Gauntlet once.
Marvel is the ultimate wank-verse when it comes to cosmic superpowers. I did enjoy reading it when I was a kid, but its constant drive for one-upmanship is a little silly.
But Parrallax from DC takes the cake for massive death count. Didn't he wipe out the universe with a thought and remade it in his image?

Mantrid from Lexx. Destroyed a universe single "handedly". Kai from Lexx has also killed lots single handedly, but I don't recall any particular figures.

There is a character in Permutation City (a novel) who spends a long time (millions?? of subjective years) killing over and over.

Dracula (any version) sure offed a lot of people.

The agents from the Matrix probably killed a lot.

Doomsday from Superman. IIRC, he wiped out the populous of at least one world single handedly

What about Owen Deathstalker? He's stopped entire armies and destroyed a plane of existence. I'm not sure exactly how many kills he has, since I haven't read the books recently (especially after the shitty ending of Deathstalker Destiny), but he fought entire armies virtually the entire time.
