Actually, what I find interesting is their writing style. There's a thread with a 'Jesus Christ' and 'G O D' where they go back-to-back apparently for amusement. What interests me is the similar 'brief phrase, good spelling' writing style they both use. I smell a rat in general around here.

I was thinking they were pretending to be Trekkies, and that we've sunk to them point that we need impersonators. The'yer just trying to anoy us. They'll go away soon. I'm already sick of them.

Meanwhile, I think we should search for new Trekkies at the far edges of the Internet to lay the Imperial Smackdown on.

I've seen this before, a troll pretending to be 2 or more people and arguing with itself, truly pathetic if you ask me. There's a cool part to this story though, on the board where I saw this before the members got pissed enough that they hunted the troll down and gave him a verbal smackdown in real life, after which he pissed himself and was never heard from again. Similar to The Truth Comes Knocking by Lord Poe in the fanfics section, but without the violent beatings.

Perhaps some of our capable warsie hackers out there can do unpleasant things to the computers of trolls who insist on tainting this site with their presence. Their IP address cannot be difficult to determine, and then....

It is acutally disturbingly easier a thing to do that you might like to think. Not that I condone such an attack on someone's system -- at least without due warning; an example:

Troll: "ST whips SW anyway you look at it and all you guyz suk anyway!!!!" ----we'll assume for argument's sake that that is the troll's fourth such post-----

Person capable of giving the troll's computer a bad day: "This is your only warning sir. Stop posting unsupported garbage and clogging this site, or we'll be forced to take adverse action."

Troll: "Up yours, dude!!!!"

Adverse action takes place.

I believe I found out where "G.O.D." came from -- on SB I saw someone called "Iceberg3K," posting in the vs. forum, and underneath that name I found, "G.O.D." The individual had over 6000 posts on SB.

Are the IP's the same? It could be a coincedence. How much of a Trekkie is G.O.D.? How does he compare to I3K on SB?
