W00t! Go Vols!
Bwahahaha, UT just beat Florida 24-10. Gotta love college rivalries!
My, how the mighty have fallen! It's been a heck of a day in College Football. "Meechigan" fell to the "Quack Attack," Marshall overthrew overrated Kansas State, Notre Dame got spanked again, and LSU showed Georgia why their stadium is called "Death Valley." Bama is currently playing N. Illinois, which many might consider a "shrug-off" game, but N. Illinois has a potent offense, which may put the Tide to the test.
In view of Tennessee's whoopin' of the Gators down in The Swamp, the Third Saturday in OctoberTM looms large. Luckily, I should be back from the NTC in time to catch that game....
But wait! There's more.............................

Because the refs there are all LSU fans and gang up on anyone that plays there...and LSU showed Georgia why their stadium is called "Death Valley."
But I digress, no excuse for the unforgivably poor performance put up by the Georgia offense today, whose strategy was apparently to let the defense do all the work and hope to score every once and a while.
We won't win the SEC championship this year, not even the East. But still, GO DAWGS!

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.
And Northern Illinois beat the Crimson Tide by a score of 19 to 16. Don't know much about N. Illinois (beside the fact that they just beat my team), but either they're a very good football team, or Alabama dressed up their cheerleaders to play in this game. Alas, I'll miss the next few Bama games but should be back in time for the Tennessee game on 25 October.jegs2 wrote:Bama is currently playing N.
