Where did YOU come from?

I've been a lurker in ASVS for a few years now. Used to post off and on, not mostly just lurk. I actually found SD.net and ASVS seperately from one another, didn't find one through the other (at least I think that's how it happened...) After Mike put up these boards I lurked a bit for the first couple months then finally joined, and here I am, still lurking for the most part.

I don't know how I first found the main site originally (before the forums exist) but it was a while back when I was looking around. It was probably either from a forum (apolyton by perhaps) or from random sci-fi websites.

Than I camped at SB.com, than heard that the VILE VILE VILE EVVVVVVILLLL that is mike has made a forum to DOOOOMM the trekkies (or something) and came back here.

Well actually, get this, from Darkstar's site.

I was actually looking for babylon 5 vs star trek stuff, and then i went to space battles, downloaded the videos (never even clicked on the forums) and then came accross darkstar's on some website list laughing at goths and nerds and stuff. At any rate, i went to darkstar's site and found links on there to here, and joined up here.

Weird eh?

Heavengames, a massive site dedicated to several different strategy games. Their main forum had quite a number of creation/evolution debates, and somebody linked Mike's pages. Eventually read all of the SDnet site and I joined the forums a week after they had gone online.

I was a member of Spacebattles.com at the time that Mike put up to boards but I didn't really come from there. If I came anywhere it was really from Curtis Saxton's site which I had browsed and ocassionally contributed to since '98 or so.

I first found out about SDN in 1998, just a few days after the kuat drive yards starship warranty registration form was added, but then i just wondered off. Star Wars was always my favorite movie series, and after TPM was released in 1999 i became interested with the ST vs SW topic, I found the Fanfic Archive and ASVS around September, lurked for months, and learned abour SDN again. I could have been registered on the SDN forums from day one, but i was lazy, and ASVS was still more fun.
