Uncontrollable Leg Shaking....

and how is that weird? You don't think uncontrollable leg shaking can be psychologically devastating? How would you sleep? your mind would be constantly on the fact that you HAVE NO CONTROLL over what some part of your body is doing....would that not be very troubling to you? It's royally fuck me up after a few weeks, methinks....

I do this all the time! Me and my brother all it "shuggling" for some reaon. I'll be sitting down and my feet wont be laid flat but will be on the front bit (toes and ball of foot) and it will just start jggling my leg up and down. I don't mind it, but my family find it anoying.

Actually I don't find it frightening at all as long as I can stop it. I'm just asking if it has any...serious physical effects.~Jason

So you're saying you DO have control over the shaking? I mean, I bounce my leg alot, shaking the third floor of my office, but I can stop it...I just do it compulsively. I thought perhaps you were having spasms, or you literally couldn't stop it....like a seizure (sp?)

There are many possible reasons... 1. sexual frustration 2. Mental Frustration 3. You have your leg positioned in such a way that your nerves start twitching

Those are the three i have come across most often, its usually when your mind is elsewhere so your body starts doing its own thing...

Theres nothing wrong with it, nothing that can be done with it, its just a nervous thing... i don't think i have met anyone ever who hasn't gotten twitches for one reason or another.
