Updating SDL under Mandrake 9.1

I'm trying to compile a genesis emulator under Mandrake 9.1 but I get an error saying "SDL 1.1.3 not found"

Would I be correct in assuming that there's a package somewhere that I need to install? If so then any idea where it would be/what it is?

Grab http://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL-1.2.6-1.i386.rpm. You may need http://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL-devel ... 1.i386.rpm as well.

Then install them.
