Oh man...this is horrible. It's terrible to lose a family member, especially like this. Take care of your family, Sylas, they need you now.

Was there any reasons for the fire? I can't imagine him just staying inside while it burned. Was it an accident?

The initial theory was that he'd fallen asleep in the car with a lit cigarette (he'd been taking pain meds for a finger he broke a week or two ago) though they made sure we knew the Fire Marhsal was still investigating and that htey hadn't ruled out foul play.

i know there isn't much i can say to ease the pain, but you have my deepest condolences. Cherish those memories you have, and share them with everyone, especially your parents. no doubt they need you right now.

It was on the news on Fox last night (not foxnews channel but the local Fox station) with a few short blurbs. I assume since they had it on their site today it was in the paper today but when I checked the newspaper machine earlier it was empty.

The police have a few leads they're currently working on but there hasn't been much new information other than that apperantly the same person tried to lure two of Eric's friends out, thankfully thogh they didn't fall for it.

I can't imagine what it'd be like to lose my little brother, I've lost uncles and grandparents, but never anyone that close.

Yep. Praise the Hillsborough County Sheriff's department.. PRAISE THEM! Seriously though I gotta wonder what kind of hellish hours the detective on this case was working with some of the times we got buzzed.
