Being able to Ghost multiple computers at a time is probably what keeps the technicians at my old school district sane. If they had to manually reconfigure computers when something on them went tits-up for some reason... good lord, nothing would get done. You don't manually configure computers on a 1600-seat network if you can help it.

Large IT departments can buy all sorts of goodies in order to make administration easier, but the primary victims of these kinds of attacks tend to be small shops and individuals.
I've worked in a few small shops, and trying to get the owners of such businesses to standardize hardware or spend a dime on preventive maintenance is like pulling teeth.

The above is sooooooo true!! Penny pinching dumbfucks would do wise to actually listen to someone provide a preventative plan now, as opposed to reacting and losing business later...Darth Wong wrote:Large IT departments can buy all sorts of goodies in order to make administration easier, but the primary victims of these kinds of attacks tend to be small shops and individuals.
