We make your own engine. And we recreating the game (close to the original). The Kernel wrote:Is this going to be a mod or are you creating your own engine? Are you going for a strict graphical remake or are you actually recreating the game? Do you have a website for this project?

Very impressive piece of work. I've always hoped somebody would remake UFO Defense sooner or later (my absolute FAVORITE game of all time). Good luck with it!Crix Dorius wrote:We make your own engine. And we recreating the game (close to the original). The Kernel wrote:Is this going to be a mod or are you creating your own engine? I hope you guys work out the balance issues of the original game. Psi attack were so potent (even on easy) that it basically just came down to luck during the final missions.
I always thought that the game should be built around the inability to save during a mission which would mean lowering the chances of having the troops killed.
But hey, I'm just glad someone has FINALLY decided to update what has to be the greatest game ever made. Thank you so, so much for doing this. I will be keeping an eye on the project in the future.

We don't have set us a finish date. So that we don't be under release pressure. Maybe 2004-2005.Chardok wrote:What is the projected finish date? And where can I preorder?
You don't need to order. It's for free. From fan's to fan's.

That REd Robed Figure almost matches the External appearance I had enviosoned for my nationstates.net Head of State, Emperor Eizen.
its great!
have you ever considered using your skills for some figures that are...Sith?
